Usugami-murazome
　　Usugami (o.k.a.Tengujoushi) meaning 'thin paper' in Japanese
is the thinnnest Washi paper in the world.It's transuparent.
Murazome literally means being dyed unevenly or blocky,
as you see in the image.


Atsuwashi-saganzome
　　Atsuwashi means thick paper.
This Washi paper is dyed with sandstone-like image. It is reversible.

Harusameshi-murazome
　　This is water marked Washi paper on which patterns
are added by dropping water .
In general, paper with pattern of tiny round holes is called
"Harusameshi", meaning spring rain in Japanese.
Harusameshi is thin paper, but not as thin as Usugami.


Atsuwashi-itajimezome
　　　Itajimewashi is a paper which is folded, clamped
between pieces of woodand then dyed being dipped in dye liquor.
"Ita-jime" means "clamped between pieces of wood" in JapaneseMurazome
literally means being dyed unevenly or blocky.


Unryushi-murazome
　　　Unryushi is characterized by containing strands of fiber
that gives us an image of "dragon flying in the cloud" just as the name implies in Japanese.


Usugami-mujizome
　　　This is very thin paper which is piece-dyed in solid color whithout shading.
Please notu: sometimes it is slightly shaded in some part because of the piece-dying.
It's transuparent.


Usugami-nagarezome
　　　Nagarezome literally means being dyed water-flow-like,
as you see in the images. It's transuparent.
This is most suitable and popular paper for the back ground of pressed flower art.



Usukouzoshi-murazome
　　　Usukouzoshi is medium-thick WP, thickker than Usugami
but thinner than Atsuwashi.
Murazome literally means being dyed unevenly or blocky,
as you see in the image.
